Licensing a Waqf Investment Portfolio

This service enables you to submit a request to issue a license for establishing a Waqf investment portfolio, aiming to develop Waqf assets within secure regulatory frameworks. 

The service is available to Endowers (Waqifs), Supervisors (Nodhar), or licensed Capital Market Institutions, ensuring the maximization and sustainability of Waqf investment returns in compliance with laws and regulations.

1- Log in: Access The authority's e-service portal.

2- Select Service: Choose "Licensing a Waqf Investment Portfolio" from the investment services menu. 

3- Fill out Request: Complete the proposed portfolio's details and attach the required documents and investment plans. 

4- Review: Ensure data accuracy and adherence to regulatory controls, then submit the request for review. 

5- Approval: You will be notified via a text message immediately upon the issuance of the official approval to license the portfolio.

1- Strict compliance with all articles and controls stipulated in the "Regulations for Establishing Waqf Investment Portfolios" issued by the General Authority for Awqaf. 

2- If the applicant is a Capital Market Institution, it must be licensed and approved by the Capital Market Authority (CMA).

1- Basic data of the Endowers and Supervisors. 

2- The portfolio's investment policies and controls document. 

3- The investment return distribution mechanism document. 

4- The necessary legal declarations and pledges.
