أبرمت الهيئة العامة للأوقاف اليوم الخميس مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة الاتصالات السعودية بهدف الوصول الى أهداف مشتركة بين الطرفين ودعم خطط الهيئة العامة للأوقاف في تنفيذ البرامج والخدمات الوقفية من خلال برامج ومبادرات في مجال التحول الرقمي تعظّم من أثر الواقفين وتحقق مستهدفات الهيئة الاستراتيجية.
وقد تمت مراسم توقيع المذكرة في مقر الهيئة العامة للأوقاف بمدينة الرياض حيث مثّل الهيئة في توقيع المذكرة نائب المحافظ للمصارف والبرامج التنموية الأستاذ عبد الرحمن العقيل فيما مثّل شركة الاتصالات السعودية نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لوحدة الأعمال الأستاذ رياض بكري.
وتتضمن مذكرة التفاهم التي تسري لمدة عام، التعاون في تقديم وتنفيذ الحلول التقنية من خلال الدراسات المعيارية ووضع الخطط والمستهدفات بأساليب متطورة تتناغم مع مشاريع الهيئة وخططها الحالية والمستقبلية في مجالات التمكين الرقمي، وانترنت الأشياء، وتقنيات الجيل الخامس، إلى جانب تطوير مبادرات المساجد الذكية، ومبادرات خدمة ضيوف الرحمن في الحرمين الشريفين والمواقيت ومحطات الحجاج والمعتمرين وتطوير خدمات المستفيدين كما يشمل التعاون المشاركة في رعاية هاكاثون الأوقاف "وقفيثون"، والتبرع في منصة وقفي من خلال نقاط قطاف.
يُذكر أن هيئة الاتصالات السعودية هي الجهة المنظمة لقطاع الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات وقطاع البريد في المملكة وتهدف الى توطين تقنية الاتصالات وتعزيز آليات تطبيقها مع الجهات الحكومية والجهات الأخرى.
