وقعت الهيئة العامة للأوقاف، اليوم الثلاثاء، اتفاقية شراكة مع مجلس الجمعيات الأهلية لدعم وتأسيس صناديق وقفية استثمارية بقيمة إجمالية تتجاوز 186 مليون ريال سعودي، وذلك لتحقيق الاستدامة المالية للجمعيات الأهلية وتعزيز دورها التنموي.
مثّل الهيئة سعادة محافظ الهيئة العامة للأوقاف الأستاذ عماد بن صالح الخراشي، ومثل مجلس الجمعيات الأهلية رئيس مجلس الإدارة الدكتور سعدون بن سعد السعدون، وذلك بحضور 50 ممثلًا من أعضاء مجالس الجمعيات الأهلية وممثلي المركز الوطني لتنمية القطاع غير الربحي وعدد من الشركاء.
وتضمنت الاتفاقية تدشين 5 صناديق وقفية استثمارية: صندوق جمعيات تحفيظ القرآن الكريم، وصندوق جمعيات الأيتام، صندوق جمعيات المنطقة الشرقية، صندوق جمعيات التوحد، وصندوق الجمعيات الصحية، حيث وقع ممثلو الجمعيات اتفاقيات لإدارة الصناديق مع مجموعة الراجحي المالية، التي مثلها سعادة الرئيس التنفيذي الأستاذ وليد بن حمد الراشد.
وبموجب الاتفاقية سوف يعمل الشركاء والتعاون في حشد الموارد للصناديق الاستثمارية الوقفية التخصصية والمناطقية ودعمها لتحقيق الاستدامة المالية، وتعزيز مساهمتها في تنمية القطاع غير الربحي وإيجاد الممكنات التي تسهم في تفعيل دورها في المجتمع.
وتعمل الهيئة مع شركائها أن الهيئة العامة للأوقاف على تحقيق الاستدامة المالية للكيانات الوقفية وغير الربحية الأهلية من خلال توفير الممكنات المالية وتعزيز الشركات مع الجهات ذات العلاقة لتطوير وتمكين الجمعيات الأهلية والارتقاء بالعمل الوقفي وتحقيق مستهدفاته الوطنية.
