برئاسة معالي وزير المالية رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للأوقاف الأستاذ محمد بن عبد الله الجدعان، عقد مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للأوقاف اليوم الأحد الموافق 23 محرم 1444هـ اجتماعه الحادي والعشرين، وذلك بحضور أعضاء المجلس، حيث ناقش عدداً من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال.
واطلع المجلس في مستهل اجتماعه على العمل القائم في المحافظة على أوقاف عين زبيدة وتنميتها، كما اطلع على التقرير الدوري لأداء المصارف الوقفية، وتقارير المنجزات لبعض اللجان المنبثقة عنه، وبعض الخطط المالية.
وأكد المجلس في نهاية الاجتماع على ضرورة مواصلة الجهود لدعم قطاع الأوقاف، وتمكين مؤسساته لتكون ذات أثر تنموي مستدام، وتذليل كافة التحديات في سبيل تعزيز دور القطاع وإسهامه في التنمية الاقتصادية التي تشهدها المملكة العربية السعودية.
